Artist Profile
Ann Neate is a Melbourne Artist whose
paintings reflect a generous interpretation of nature’s
vast colour scheme. Her flowers and landscapes are
unique simple visions of complex natural creations that
bring joy to the numerous people who posses them and the
countless others who are fortunate to view them. Her
paintings are featured in private and corporate
collections throughout Australia and overseas, and
include portrait commissions.
Ann’s success is recognised by numerous awards for
excellence in a painting career spanning over 28 years.
These include an array of Rotary Club awards, a Royal
Overseas League award, presented by The Late Sir William
Dargie, the Waverley Art Society’s Silver Jubilee award
and the Royal Australian Airforce Association medallion
award.
A prolific exhibitor, Ann participates in
solo and joint exhibitions.
Ann
has exhibited her work in Jordan, in The Royal Cultural
Centre of Amman. Her Royal Highness Princes Rajwa Ali
opened the exhibition. One of Ann’s paintings, a
portrait of His Majesty King Hussein and Queen Noor, is
now hanging in the Palace. Ann also has one of her
paintings hanging in the Queen’s Chamber in the Royal
Cultural Centre, and others hanging in private
collections throughout the kingdom of Jordan.
